By entering your customer ID (provided by us)  password and memorable word (provided by us but changeable by you) you will enter a whole new era of communication with us. Our commitment

We believe we are truly a completely 24 x 7 x 52 business. We are always on hand to provide legal and fiscal assistance to freelance individuals undertaking engagements away from their home country.

This site will enable you to communicate with and transfer information to the relevant department of Global K, from wherever you are as long as you have internet access.

So, if you are at a friend's house and wondering whether you have been paid, access us from his / her internet connection. Or, if you are on holiday and are not sure whether you remembered to submit your timesheet before you left, pop into any internet café and get a full updated picture of your status from your private members area on our site.

On our side, our staff are committed to providing a "round-the-clock" service, so don't be surprised if you access your site at 11 p.m. and find some information / communication which has been posted since the last time you looked at 8 p.m.!

Keeping in touch

One of the biggest problems faced by a company like ours, is keeping track of the whereabouts of our customers, and being able to contact them.

As an internationally mobile freelancer, you will probably find that you frequently move location, whether within a country, or often to a completely new country. When you move, much of your personal information will, naturally, change as you settle into a new location.

When you move, it is no doubt a good bet that many, if not all, of the following items of personal information will change as well: -

  • Country of residence
  • Overseas address
  • Daytime, evening and mobile phone numbers
  • E-mail address
  • Agency / client name
  • Work address
  • Contract rate
  • Currency
  • Bank details

However, as a Global K customer, you can now access your members area on our site and input all these changes to the "Members details" section yourself, so there is never an excuse for us not to be able to keep in touch with you. And since our staff are 24/24, 7/7, 52/52 online, we will always use the information on your members page when we are phoning / writing / e-mailing you.

by communicating your information request / submission to the relevant department at Global K through the "Messages" feature on your members site. Also, benefit from the archive of previous messages, ensuring you never lose, or forget, any communication you have had with us during your time as a customer.

Online timesheet submission

There are two features of Global K's service which made you join as a customer in the first place and which ensure you remain happy with our service: -

We have a wealth of knowledge, experience and international associations to ensure maximisation of your income while you are working overseas combined with the comfort that everything has been done to ensure your legitimacy within the country where you are located.

We pay you on time

Ensure in future that the second of the above services is not influenced by you not getting billing information to us on time, by accessing the "Timesheet" function of your site and inputting all information relevant to the billing period in question. Once submitted, we will act upon this to immediately raise the invoice to your agency / client.

We may still require you to fax / post a copy of the original signed timesheet (where agencies / clients insist upon submission of this) but the main thing is getting the information to us in an accurate and timely manner, in order that we can bill before relevant deadlines and ensure the payment is received by us (and made to you) without any delay.

Furthermore, as a customer of Global K you will have a permanent archive of all timesheet information submitted to us during your time as a customer, making sure you are always aware that we have billed your agency / client for all hours / days / units worked by you on the assignment.

Online expenses submission

In a number of locations the submission of expense claims by you can enhance the after-tax "bottom-line" achievable from your contract.

If you are in one of these locations, why not, form now on, access the "Expense claim" function on your members site and list the expenses claim you intend to make for the relevant period. Notice how the feature automatically cross-casts and totals the expenses as you enter them. And if you have expense claims in different currencies, just submit multiple claims, one for each currency.

Of course we will always, still, ask you to submit original receipts / supporting documentation in support of your expenses claim, and should you make any errors in your claim our staff will adjust the claim accordingly. But make sure your expenses claim is take into account, and your net return maximised, by accessing "Expense claim" for your online expense submission.

And ensure that you have a complete history of all expenses claims submitted during your time as a customer of Global K, by accessing the archive area of your private site for a record of all communications with us.

Online calculations

By utilising the pdf download feature on your private area, you will be able to access folders providing a complete detailed history of all transaction conducted by this company on your behalf.

We have already (above) shown how you will have an archive of communication, timesheets and expenses through the internal functions on this site. However, by accessing your members site, you will be able to access:-

  • A history of all invoices raised for you to your agency / client
  • A history of all net-pay calculations prepared on your behalf
  • A history of all payment made to you, and dates paid

We aim to add more and more features as time goes on, to give you, our customer, a complete history of all transactions / communications / information passed to or from us or processed by us during your time as a customer of Global K. Watch this space for news as features are added to the site.
